Paul is licenced to judge all Gundog (Sporting) breeds at Championship Shows and All Groups at Open show level whilst his wife Carolyn Cederman has Championship licences to judge all Toys, Terriers, Gundogs (Sporting), Hounds and Working dogs (Pastoral). Paul moved to Brisbane, Australia, in February 1986 and took four Pointers. As a kennel was already established in Australia with a similar name to Robwyn they were not able to register this kennel Prefix. For the next ten years they bred Pointers under the "Bolmareve" kennel prefix in Australia. During this time they were involved in both the show ring and field trail aspects of the breed. In 1996 Paul moved back to New Zealand and re-registered the 'Robwyn" kennel name. His wife Caroyln breeds Irish Setters under the Lanascol prefix and together they have established their respective kennels on their 11 acre property in Runciman, South Auckland. Both of their kennels have envious records of achievement with "Robwyn" having bred the Pointer of the Year for the 2001 and 2002 and in 2006 Robwyn won the Inaugural Pointer Club Show Pointer of the Year award. "Lanascol" has bred the Irish setter of the Year for the past 17 years. They have both imported different bloodlines form various countries throughout their kennels histories and continue to import to ensure that their respective breeds are not limited by the size of the available gene pools within New Zealand. Paul is on the committee of Waitemata Gundog Club and The Setter Club.
