Gloria acquired her first Poodle in 1964 and enjoyed a successful showing and breeding program which led to a career as a Professional Dog Groomer of some recognition. She is Foundation President, Patron and Life Member of the Toy Poodle Society of Victoria. And later became involved with Chihuahuas which led to her becoming a National Representative and past President of the Chihuahua Club of Victoria. Serving on the committee of many All Breed Clubs, Gloria became a Secretary, Life Member and is the current President of Heidelberg and District Kennel Club. In 2003 Gloria became an All Breeds judge and took an active role in the Judges' Training Scheme as a Group Leader and served as an accredited tester for all breeds.
