At championship shows David only chose to judge Staffordshire Bull Terriers. His family have owned the breed since the mid-50's and he has been showing since the late 70's and judging at championship level since 1995. He has judged the breed in Australia (3 times), New Zealand (2), South Africa(2), USA (1), EuropeScandinavia (4) and in the UK (6). David was Secretary of the SBT Breed Council for 6 years and Kennel Club Breed Liaison Officer for 8 years. He continues to represent the breed at meetings regarding dangerous dog legislation.
