Breeder of Mini and Rabbit Dachshunds, both smooth and wires for the last 20 years, under the affix "Bauchal's e del Gotha". He has been for many years a member of the Directing Board of Torino Kennel Club and also the Vice-President of the Dachshund Club of Italy. Gianfranco has judged many shows across Europe, such as Russia, Poland, Hungary, France, the German Bundessieger, Switzerland, Finland, Denmark, Spain, Belgium and the World Dachshund Show.
