Ms Ko has been involved in canine activities since 1985 when after graduating from the Cosmo Professional Grooming School in Japan she began her breeding program, under the "Tanri" prefix. Since that time she has bred several Toy breeds, including Maltese, Shih Tzu, Yorkshire Terriers, Pomeranian and Toy Poodles. Ms Ko is currently a qualified grooming lecturer under the Taiwan Kennel Club and has her own grooming salon. Ms Ko was granted All Breeds Judges status in 1996 and now holds FCI, AKU and KCC All Breeds Judges License. She has judged in Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and the Philippines and Australia (in 2005).
