Mrs. Bateman has been involved in dogs since 1962, and was approved to her first judging panel in 1969, and has since then gained appointments to all the other groups. She attained All Breeds status as from January 1st, 1995. She has an interest in English Setters, English Cocker Spaniels, English Springer Spaniels and Borzoi. Her judging appointments have taken her to both islands of New Zealand, all states of Australia (including A.C.T. in December 2006), Canada, Manila, the Philippines and Hong Kong.
