Krista owned her first pedigree dog - a cocker - when she was fourteen, and he was followed by a GSD who she trained and competed with in sports competitions. She has owned and bred dwarf poodles for almost 40 years, more recently Toys, and has had a number of German and international champions and in 1987 Yorkshire Terriers joined the family. Krista had been judging since 1981 and has judged in more than 10 countries and judges all breeds in Group 9 and she is a specialist judge for Do Khyi, Japan Chin, King Charles Spaniel, Lhasa Apso, Pekingese, Poodle, Tibetan Spaniel and Tibetan Terrier. She is an agility and sports performance trainer (having competed successfully with both Poodles and Yorkies) and is involved with a number of breed clubs. Fluent in English and German, Krista is a Group 9 Specialist judge.
