Tore got his first dog in 1950 and has been breeding since 1975. He has owned and bred Rottweilers, Airedale Terriers, and Lakeland Terriers. Fluent in English, he has judged in Australia, Belgium, Germany, Indonesia, Iceland, Israel, Italy, Latvia, the Netherlands and Portugal. He has earned the Norwegian Kennel Club's Silver Mark of Distinction.
