He was born on 1957 from a purely canine hunting family. His passion and love for pointer breeds led him to become involved exclusively with the breeding and training of British and Irish pointers. Since 1991 he has brought out 16 trial dogs, a practical hunting champion, 5 dogs who participated in the National team for the European and World championship, 19 dogs as conformation champions, 2 conformation breeding champions, an absolute champion of both conformation and working trials, an international conformation champion and a reserve world champion. All these dogs were under his registered kennel name "D. Doulos". He has won 19 times the title of "Best Kennel in Show" in National and International shows with the greatest achievement in June 2000, where he was awarder with the title of "Best World Kennel of English Setters". Dogs of his breeding who are abroad, present remarkable records in Denmark, Switzerland, Finland and Germany. He was a member of the Board of Directors of the Greek Kennel Club, the last 2 serving as Vice - President. He is a member of the Greek Kennel Club Judges Committee for conformation shows and working trials. He is also an International conformation judge for groups 4, 6, 7, 8, 10 as well as an International judge for working trials of group 7. He can also judge special classes and Best in Show.
