Laurel has been involved in showing and breeding Scottish Terriers and West Highland Terriers for over 40 years, and has bred over 40 champions, and made up a about 30 herself. She has also shown and bred Norwich Terriers and owned a Kerry Blue Terrier. She has held office in the Scottish Terrier Club Inc., West Highland White Terrier Club, The British Terrier Club of NSW, Toy & General All Breeds Club and has been a member of several others.
