Born in 1954, Carlos is a state economist. His first dog was a German Shepherd imported from the USA fifty years ago. He introduced the German Hunting Terrier to Spain. He got many champions in the different breeds that he has bred, which include Australian Shepherds, German Hunting Terriers, Fox Terriers, Basset Hounds, and Dachshunds. Carlos has been secretary of Mastin EspaƱol Club, president and treasurer of the Terrier Club, vice-president of Terrier Friends Club, staff member of the Ecologist Iberia Society for the Shepherd breeds protection, treasurer of the Royal Spanish Kennel Club until 2002 and directive member until 2003. He has been a member of many FCI's commissions. He has been member of the Salt Bush Committee of Valencia's World Dog Show in 2002. Vice-president and president of the Spanish Boxer Club. Now he is president of the Burgos y Soria Kennel Club and vice-president and honor member of the Staffordshire Bull Terrier Club. Carlos has collaborated with the most important magazines, radio and TV shows, he has given classes about dogs, he has been the director of the encyclopedia "Mis amigos los perros" (Planeta), Director of the Boxer's magazine and co-author of the book Stafford and Bull Terrier. As an international judge he has participated in shows in Spain, France, Italy, Germany, Luxembourg, Scandinavia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Poland, Columbia, and Cuba.
