Nicon started showing dogs in 1965 as a junior handler, and has since evolved into a breeder, handler and judge. He has shown and kept English Cockers, Boxers, Dachshunds, Australian Silky Terriers, Shih Tzu, Pugs, Poodles, Griffon Bruxellois, Miniature Bull Terriers, Japanese Chins and Pekingese. Some of his exhibits have won BIS and major awards under his LYNIC prefix. Nicon is licensed to judge the Toy and Non Sporting groups. He has judged extensively around the world.
