John obtained his first show dog, a Pembroke Welsh Corgi in 1973 and has been involved with the breed ever since. Under the Breconmohr prefix they have bred and owned numerous champions and BIS winners. John started judging in 1980 and obtained his All Breeds licence in 1996. He has judged in all States of Australia, New Zealand, Philippines, South Africa, United Kingdom and USA. He has also judged Pembroke Corgis at Championship level at a Specialty show in the United Kingdom and apart from All Breed appointments in the USA, he has judged four Pembroke Welsh Corgi Specialties to date.
