Has been involved with dogs since childhood exhibiting the famous Punbrome Welsh Corgis since 1969. Since then with the help of her husband, Jim, has been a very successful exhibitor of GSD's, Rottweilers, the Mini & Standard Long Haired Dachshunds, Fox Terriers & Australian Terriers. Commenced judging in 1976 and has judged in all states of Australia including Tasmania & New Zealand. She has judged Best in Show at many specialty shows and also the Working Group at the Royal Canberra in 1989. In 1995 she judged the Bangsai Royal International and has judged in Indonesia and South Africa. Involved in many clubs in Queensland being a life member of many of them, she is also the co-ordinator of the North Queensland Judges Scheme and was one of the instigators of the North Queensland Contest of Winners which has now become Queensland Top Dog contest.
