Ivor was given an English Cocker Spaniel for his 14th birthday, but later, after marriage to an Adelaide girl he bought her a Welsh Corgi (Pembroke) while doing social work in Liverpool. In 1954 after moving to Adelaide they both joined the SACA and have now been breeding and showing Corgi's for over 50 years! Ivor obtained his All Breeds licence in 1973 and was Vice Chairman of the Judges Training Committee for over twenty years. He has judged in all states of Australia, both islands of New Zealand; Singapore and Malaysia; the USA, Canada, England and Italy.
