Ricardo has been an All Breed judge for 35 years, licensed by the FCI and AKC. He was President of Santos Kennel Club, President of Boxer Club Paulista (two different periods), President of Brazil Boxer Club, and former member of The Judges Department of Brazil Kennel Club. Since 1971 Mr. Simoes lived in London, England for about 12 years and had intense contact with European breeders and judged many times in several countries. Moving to Miami, Florida in 1991 where he lived for many years, he applied and became a registered judge (#7273) for the AKC, for Boxers and other Working Group breeds. In the past years Ricardo has judged Specialties and Championship Shows in the United States and Canada, in Mexico and in many Latin American countries and in Europe as well as in some Asian countries.
