Tony first judged Great Danes at an All Breeds Open Show in 1974. Unlike some people who have taken that step, he thoroughly enjoyed the experience. As there is no self-progressive system in place in the UK that enables one to graduate to judging at Championship Show level, you have to wait a long time to take the next step. For him that came in 1988 when he judged at the Scottish Kennel Club show. |
