PAGANI, Mrs Sonia

Sonia started judging in 1996 and has judged at Specialty and International shows throughout Sweden, Germany, Croatia, Russia, Belgium , Switzerland, Luxembourg, France, Denmark and Poland. 
Sonia is FCI licensed to judge all Terriers (FCI Group 3) and all the Toy Group. She is also licensed to judge German Spitz. She is a member of Italian Terrier Club and Italian Yorkshire Terrier Club, and has written many articles for various dog magazines. Sonia has bred and exhibited Yorkshire Terriers since 1974 with more than 100 champions to her credit. In 1999, in partnership with her son Stefano, she also ventured out into Jack Russell Terriers. She also had Maltese for 5 years.

PALOHEIMO, Mrs. Annukka

Dr Annukka Paloheimo, owner of Anncourt Cavaliers, is a well-known Cavalier breed specialist judge. She has judged Cavaliers in most parts of the world since 1988, including Specialty Club shows in Sweden, Holland, Belgium, France, Italy, USA, Australia and New Zealand. She has judged them also in many International shows including Finland, Sweden, Norway, Estonia, Belgium, Germany, France, Italy, Luxembourg, Ireland, Czech Republic.
She is classified to be the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Clubs (UK) Breed Specialist judge after fulfilling all the requirements including Judging Seminar and the Kennel Club's training courses in UK. Dr Paloheimo has now been approved to award CCs also in England and she judged there at CC-level in 2002 and 2003. In addition to Cavaliers, she is a FCI approved championship show judge for over 100 other breeds. She has The Finnish kennel Clubs approval to train all of the FCI Groups. She feels privileged in being a student of the great Finnish all-rounders Mr. Hans Lehtinen and Mr. Rainer Vuorinen.

Vasile-Carol Papp is one of the pioneers of purebred dog breeding in Romania. He has been a dog show judge since 1970 and he is a specialist for the group ll. He loves the German Boxers and is the owner of one. He has a lot of experience judging dog shows all over the world, and his specific style has earned him fans among breeders and audience alike. He is the President of Judges College of the Romanian Kennel Club and a member of the Executive Board of Romanian Kennel Club. Fluent in German and Hungarian.

Wendy & Richard Paquette have been involved in purebred dogs for over 30 years. They began their careers in dogs with primarily Shih Tzu, but along the way they have owned and bred Samoyeds, Afghans, Salukis, Whippets, Brussels Griffon, Maltese, Pekingese, Lakeland Terriers and Wire Fox Terriers.
Shih Tzu are their main breed and they have produced over 200 Canadian Champions, 60 American Champions, 12 different Best In Show winners and 8 National Specialty winning dogs. 
Their Shih Tzu, “Chase”, Am Can Ch Wenrick’s Chassen Rainbows is in the pedigree of many top winning dogs from around the world. Their most recent star has become one of the World’s most famous and titled Shih Tzu. He is “Woody”, BIS/BISS World, INT CAN AM MED IT POL LUX Ch of the Americas World and International Champion Wenrick’s Hollywood Hit. “Selena”, Can Am Ch Wenrick’s Sweet Surrender finished her American Championship in style by going Best Of Winners at the American Shih Tzu Club National Specialty in Orlando Florida in 2001. "Selena" had an exciting year in 2002. She began by winning Best of Breed at the prestigious Westminster Kennel Club show at Madison Square Gardens in New York City. She followed this up with Best of Breed at the Twin Cities Specialty in Minnesota and an Award Of Merit at the American Shih Tzu Club National Specialty in St. Louis MI. In Canada "Selena" was the number one Shih In Canada for 2002 with 5 All Breed Best In Shows and Best of Breed at the Canadian Shih Tzu Club National Specialty. "Selena's" win at the Garden and her # 1 ranking in Canada marked the first time in decades a "Bitch" has won these awards.
They are now retired professional dog handlers, a profession that they enjoyed for 15 years. During this time they finished over 500 champions in 80 different breeds and won over 150 All Breed Best in Shows on 16 different breeds. They also owned and piloted a Lakeland Terrier, “Danny”, Am Can Bda Ch Jamelyn’s Second Edition to #1 All Breeds, a Pekingese, “Bingo”, Can Am Ch Rodari’s Aces High to # 2 All Breeds, and bred and owned the Best In Show winning Pekingese Ch. Wenrick’s Jokers Wild.
They have served on the executive of All Breed and Specialty breed clubs, and have been honoured with life memberships in the Canadian Kennel Club, the Sudbury & District Kennel Club and the Canadian Shih Tzu Club. They have also been awarded an Honorary Membership in the Canadian Professional Handlers Association.

Wendy is a CKC Licensed All Breed Judge and a founding member of the Canadian Dog Judges Association (CDJA). She is also a member of the American Dog Judges Association. (ADJA). PARKER, Mrs. E. S. J.

NZKC Groups 2, 5, 6, 7

For as long as she can remember, Betty has loved dogs. They purchased their first pedigree dog, a Boxer in 1973. The breeder encouraged them to enter a Ribbon Parade. Their girl won Best On Parade, and they were ‘hooked’. Since that time, they have had many successes over the years, winning Best In Show & Reserve Best In Show at All Breeds & Speciality Shows plus numerous In Show age awards.
She joined the Committee of the local All Breeds Club (Manawatu Kennel Assn) in September 1976, was elected Treasurer in 1979, and Secretary on 30 January 1980 a position she still holds. I was made a Life Member of the Club in 1997. In 1979, Betty and her husband joined the Committee of the Wellington & District Boxer Club where she was Secretary for 22 years and in 1994 she and her husband were nominated for Life Members. Over the years she has been Secretary of the Manawatu Branch of the Show Dogs Judges Assn and is currently President.
In 1983 Betty was admitted to the New Zealand Kennel Clubs Judging Panel and is currently licensed to judge the Terrier, Working, Utility and Non-Sporting Groups at Championship level and to award Challenge Certificates to all breeds in those groups and to judge All Breeds and Best In Show at Open Show level.

PATERSON, Mrs. Dee

ANKC All Breeds

Dee was born into a doggy family and grew up with Scottish and Sealyham Terriers. She is an All Breeds judge. Dee has been involved, very successfully, in breeding and exhibiting Welsh Corgis (Pembroke) since 1964. She was also successful when she bred and exhibited Irish and English Setters for sixteen years. At present Dee concentrates on Border Terriers with which she has achieved great success over the past eighteen years as well as Corgis. Her kennel recently made up their ninety-ninth champion. Has judged extensively in Australia and New Zealand. 

PATHY, Mr. S.

All Breeds

Mr. Pathy is from Coimbatore, Industrialist in the business of textile and textile machinery manufacturing. He is the Vice Chairman of The Lakshmi Mills Company Limited.
Mr. Pathy, as he is known through out the dog world has been showing and breeding dogs for over thirty five years. He is also a member of Singapore Kennel Club. He is an all breeds Judge on the KCI panel and has judged overseas. 
As a breeder, Mr. Pathy has bred under the Kennel prefix “SANS CRAINTES” (which means without fear, in French). He has owned and bred Dobermans, Labradors, Siberian Huskies and other Breeds. Mr. Pathy has successfully bred a few “Dog of the Year” winners. He also breeds horses under the prefix “SANS CRAINTES”, produced and raced some outstanding Horses in the Indian Racing.

PATTERSON, Mr Eddie

Has been involved in Rhodesian Ridgebacks since 1988, exhibiting and breeding under the Rocksham prefix. Made up Champions to GB, Irish and International level also numerous other Ridgebacks to Major Green Star Level. Retired Chairman of the Rhodesian Ridgeback Club of Ireland, a member since 1988 and served on its committee. Also involved in Basenjis since 1993. Overall general interest in all aspects of Hounds, both show and working. Passed to judge All Hounds at Championship Level under Irish Kennel Club Regulations.
Also qualified to judge Groups 4, 6, 10 under FCI regulations. Retired Chairman of the Rhodesian Ridgeback Club of Ireland. Vice President Newtownards & District CC. Chairman, Basset Hound Club Northern Ireland. Served on the committees of: Rhodesian Ridgeback Club of Ireland, Basset Hound Club of Northern Ireland, Hound Club of Northern Ireland, Newtownards & District CC, Bangor & District CC. Officiated as breed specialist at IKC Judges Development Seminar 1996. 

PATTERSON, Mrs. Sandra 

ANKC All Breeds

A Licensed Judge for over 25 years. Her judging assignments have taken her to every State of Australia and many times internationally to both islands of New Zealand, Malaysia, Sweden and the UK. She has had the honour to have judged three Specialty Golden Retriever shows in Australasia (Sydney, Wellington (NZ) and Christchurch (NZ)) as well as judging Golden Retrievers in the UK and awarding CC's to Goldens in Sweden, as well as Labradors, Springers, Field and Sussex Spaniels. Over 36 years and from a limited number of litters has bred 47 Australian Champions. There have been 6 New Zealand Champions and Sandra and her husband Michael are very proud to have bred the FIRST ever Australian and New Zealand Golden Retriever - Ch & NZ Ch BUFFALO WOODCHESTER CD,  and the breed's FIRST, Grand Champion bitch - GRAND CHAMPION BUFFALO LUVMELOTS to be followed by GRAND CHAMPION BUFFALO BEL AYRE PRINCE. In the years to follow THREE more "Buffalo" bred dogs attained their AUSTRALASIAN titles.

PATTON, Mr. Norman 

AKC Sporting, Terrier, Toy, Non-Sporting Groups & Misc Breeds 

He has contributed and participated in nearly every aspect of the sport of dogs. He began breeding and exhibiting purebred dogs with his father in 1950. Since then he has owned, exhibited and bred many winning Shih Tzu. He is currently a co-breeder of Toy Poodles and Cavalier King Charles Spaniels with Gary Wittmeier under the prefixes of Trebor-Ahs (Poodles) and Classic (Cavaliers).
Mr. Patton was the breeder and owner of Ch. Dragonwyck The Great Gatsby, who was the top-winning Shih Tzu of all time in the U.S. for 25 years. His Toy Poodle, Ch. MVP of Ahs, is also the top-winning Toy Poodle of all time and won the Toy Group at Westminster in 1995. 
He was an American Kennel Club licensed handler, and has been a American Kennel Club licensed judge since 1976. He is approved for the Sporting Group, Terrier Group, Toy Group, Non-Sporting Group, and Best in Show.
Mr. Patton has judged the Westminster Kennel Club five times, including the Non-Sporting Group, and officiated at the very first AKC Eukanuba Invitational Show, which was held in Florida, judging the Toy Group. He has judged in Ireland, England, China, and Japan. He judges approximately 55-60 AKC shows a year. He holds a Bachelor and Masters Degree in Education and taught high school for 30 years.

PAUNOVIC, Mr. Dusan

Dusan was born in 1978 in Valjevo, a city not far from Belgrade. His life has always been filled with love for all the animals, especially dogs. He has bred and campaigned plenty of International, National and European Chihuahua champions.
Dusan became a judge in 1997. At the moment he is an international judge for FCI Groups 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, and 10, and all breeds in every group. He has judged at all major international and national shows in his country and all around Europe. This is his hobby and he thoroughly enjoys it. 

PAYNE, Mr. Lyall T.

NZKC Groups 4 & 5 (Hounds & Working Dogs)

His interest in dogs began as a teenager and he was still at school when he purchased his  first Afghan Hound in 1971. He gained experience grooming and exhibiting for others and enjoyed major wins at Specialty shows before taking his second Afghan Hound through to Best in Specialty, the first of a number of Specialty Best in Show winners he was to own.
He gained his judging license for Hounds in the 1970's followed by Working dogs. He has judged throughout New Zealand and Australia, and in Scandinavia. His breed focus has been on the Afghan Hound, working with old Australian breeding and imports. He imported NZ Ch Alphaville’s Super Swede from Sweden in 1991 and has two of his progeny today. In the 1980s he took his Ch Bletchley Hall Fire Fox to a Queensland Specialty and won Intermediate in Show and Reserve Dog. Later he sent his brother Bletchley Hall Wild-Fire (both returned home as Australian and New Zealand champions).
He bred Minorca poultry prior to the Afghan Hounds and today in addition to his two Afghan Hounds, breeds and exhibit Birman cats and both Border and Norwich Canaries. He has served in almost every capacity on committees of specialist and all breeds dog and cat clubs and has served as an Executive Councillor of the New Zealand Cat Fancy. In the meantime he has managed a career as an Economic Statistician for New Zealand’s national statistics office and has recently moved into strategic policy and planning.

PAYRO, Dr. Jose Luis  

FCI All Breeds

Dr. Payro is president of the Mexican Kennel Club. Born in Mexico City he grew up in a family of sports minded dog fanciers. He became a Medical Veterinarian Doctor at the National University of Mexico, where he has been a teacher since 1974. His success in breeding and showing Afghan Hounds, Great Danes and Dobermans led him to create the first All-Breed Veterinarians Club in Mexico, affiliated to the Mexican Kennel Club (Federacion Canofila Mexicana) F.C.M. 
Approved to judge all breeds in 1975 by the Mexican Kennel Club (FCM). Since then, he has judged FCI shows all over the world, including Europe, Central and South America, Asia, Australia and New Zealand. In 1975 AKC approved Dr. Payro to judge All Breeds, Groups and Best in Show with no restriction on number of shows in a year, all over the U.S. Approved by CKC to judge All Breeds in Canada. 
An active member of the Board of Directors of the Mexican Kennel Club, belongs to the FCI Standard Committee and has also been a part of the Scientific Committee in the FCI.  Has judged major shows in Italy, the World Dog Shows in Argentina, Vienna, Budapest and in his own country, Mexico.  He has received several awards in the world arena as a judge and as a veterinarian. The Mexican Medical Veterinarian Association named Dr. Payro "The Veterinarian of the Year" in 1995, and again in 2000.

Currently breeds and exhibits Beagles. Bayard are the only kennel to have 2 Hound Group Winners at Crufts. They also started showing Whippets in 1987 and their first homebred litter made its appearance in the show ring in 2002. International judge for many Hound breeds. Awards CC's in Beagles, Dachshunds (6), Bassets, P.B.G.V., Pharaoh Hounds, Ibizian Hounds, and the Hound Group. Has judged in Australia, New Zealand, Finland, Denmark, Germany, and Switzerland. 

PEDDIE, Mr. John C. Frederick 

CKC All Breeds

Fred Peddie has been involved in purebred dogs for over 40 years. Having started his dog career with Chows, the most famous being Ch. Mi-Tu's Han Su Shang, a Westminster Group winner, and Canada's top dog for 1975, he more recently has been involved with French Bulldogs having numerous World Champions. As an entrepreneur and former head of the Canadian Fashion Industry, the love of dogs has been paramount to this judge. He has judged dog shows since 1976 in Australia, Austria, Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Columbia, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden, Ireland, Holland, Germany, South Africa, Venezuela, France, Finland, the United States and Canada. An aficionado of French Bulldogs which he currently breeds and shows, and formerly owning top winning Chows in three countries simultaneously, his free time is taken up with charity fund raising, gourmet cooking, and interior design. 

PEDERSEN, Mr. Geir Nordahl

FCI Group 5, and several breeds in Group 1

Geir was born in Norway in 1945, but moved to The Netherlands in 2007. He became active in dogs when he was 17 years old. His first dog was a German Shepherd Dog, and for years he was show handling German Shepherds and also other breeds. All the years he has been an active member of the pedigree dog world in different areas and in different positions. He has been successfully breeding Welsh Corgi Pembrokes for 17 years, and has been awarded The Short Tail's Order of The Norwegian Welsh Corgi Club. Together with his wife, Ann Elise, he has also been breeding Chow Chows for years, and now also Pekingese under the Contender prefix. 
Geir has judged at international championship level since 1987 in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Latvia, The Netherlands, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand. He is fluent in English, German and Dutch.
The breeds: All breeds in FCI Group 5. In FCI Group 1: Groendael, Laekenois, Malinois, Tervueren, Collie Smooth, Collie Rough, Schipperke, German Shepherd Dog, Shetland Sheepdog, Welsh Corgi Cardigan, Welsh Corgi Pembroke.

PEHAR, Mr. Tino

Tino was born in 1974 in Mostar. His life has always been filled with love for all animals and especially for dogs. Tino's parents owned German Shepherds and when he started to walk, it was with "hands on". There was always dogs in their house, and until today they bred or owned Posavian Hounds, Labradors, Brittany's, Lhasa Apso, Griffons and at present he's breeding Dachshunds (Smooth).
Tino is licensed by Croatian Kennel Club and FCI to judge all breeds in FCI Groups: 4, 5, 8, 9, and 10; Short-leg Terriers in FCI Group 3 and some breeds in FCI Group 6 (Dalmatian,....).
He has judged in Ireland, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Luxembourg, Belgium, Russia, Poland, Estonia, Litvania, Slovenia, Austria, Serbia, Slovakia, Montenegro, Germany, Spain, Czech Republic, Croatia and has invitations for Romania and Denmark. He is the main organizer of two international shows in Mostar and contributes to several dog magazines.

Started in dogs in 1965, joined C.K.C. in 1966. , first breed was Afghans an they were joined by Whippets in short order.  Has owned but not bred Westies, Silky's, Lhasas, Mini Poodles. Has also handled for other owners, many breeds. Has bred several top Whippets and won American Whippet Club Specialty with "". Has Whippets to this day.  Started judging in early 1970's and judged in Scandinavia, Australia, U. S. & Canada.  Has belonged to Guelph & District Kennel Club, and founding member of Ontario Sighthound Assoc. Currently member of Caledon Kennel Assoc. & Trillium Dog Fanciers. Was involved with Royal Winter Fair Dog show as show secretary.

PERRY, Mrs. Jackie 

All Breeds

She  started judging whilst living in Singapore and after six years of experience finally gained her All Breeds License in 1977. Since that time she has judged in most countries in the world and is normally engaged for around 20 shows including Internationals throughout a year.
Her own breed is the Dobermann but she also has bred and exhibited to quite a high degree of success - GSD’s , Dalmatians, Shih Tzus, West Highland White Terriers, Poodle (Mini), Basset Hounds, Pekingese and of course her beloved Dobermanns. Now living permanently in retirement on the lovely Island of Phuket in Thailand, she can devote even more time to judging.

PERSSON, Moa

First licensed in 1979, Moa became an All Breeds judge in 1991. She has owned Pugs, French Bulldogs and Labrador Retrievers.
Fluent in English and German, Moa has judged throughout the world, including Perth Royal Show on two occasions.

PETERSON, Evelyn Betty 

CKC All Breeds

Grew up with horses and dogs as her constant companions and she developed a great love for both. Owning and caring for her own horse and dogs she also learned about structure, movement, etc. Today she realizes how valuable these early lessons were. 
Her "Quantico" Kennel was permanently registered in 1963 when she began breeding and showing Chihuahuas under the Quantico prefix. 
She enjoyed a great deal of success with her dogs. Her most well-known was Am/Can/Mex. Ch. Quantico's Little Crusader, rightly named, since it is felt he is the only Canadian dog to achieve the distinction of becoming the top winning Chihuahua in the USA for three consecutive years, wining most major Chihuahua Specialties and numerous BIS awards prior to being retired.  Became an all-breed judge in the early '70's and has officiated at shows all over the world, including many in the U.S. She was honored to judge at the Canadian Centennial Show as well as many breed specialties in Canada, USA, Australia and Belgium.  Has served continuously as Vice President of the Canadian National Chihuahua Club since its inception, and is also a Life Member of the Canadian Kennel Club.

The breeder judge from KCTH, Thailand also accredited by all AKU's, FCI's countries, ANKC, and AKC to judge all group excepts Toy. Began to judge Beagles in 2000, including the specialties in Thailand, Philippines, and other almost 50 all breed championship shows. He is the breeder of more than 30 champions from Perfect Companion Beagles who won in Thailand, China, Korea and America. He is the former secretary of the Judging committees and still owns the highest record of judging examination in Thailand. Perfect Companion Beagle is a part of Perfect Companion’s Pet Research center which was established 30 years ago for the purpose of developing high quality products for companion animals. They believe in demonstrating the quality of their products partly through their breeding program, by producing champion bloodlines using Perfect Companion quality products. Their Research Center has produced approximately 20 champions per year, including the current top Beagles in Thailand, Top Goldens and Labs. Other consistently achieved awards are "Best in Show" and "Best in Group" from competitions in Thailand and other countries, including the United States of America. China and South Korea.

Has on several occasions been Member, Secretary, Vice-President and President of the KCU (Uruguayan Kennel Club). At the moment Vice-President of the Board of Directors. Former Executive Secretary of Sicalam (South American Society of Kennel Clubs). Different offices in Breed Clubs (Collie, Boxer, Dobermann, Uruguayan Cimarrón). Former Secretary and President of the Judges Committee. Delegate of the Uruguayan Kennel Club to many FCI and Sicalam General Assemblies in several Countries. First FCI Breed license in 1970 and All Breeds FCI license in 1983; having judged as All Round or as a Specialised Judge in over 16 different countries. Coordinator and permanent member of the examination boards for prospective Judges.
Started breeding Collies in 1969. Former breeder of Old English Sheepdogs and Rottweillers, and at present breeding Collies and Siberian Huskies as a family enterprise, with the prefix Kimdar, having obtained several Championships and Best in Shows, at home and abroad, in most of these breeds. Judged Specialty Shows in Collies, Setters, Neapolitan Mastiffs, Salukis. Has judged the Boston Terrier Club of Canada, and Peace Arch Working and Herding Association Specialty.. Has judged many times all breeds and specialty shows at CC and BIS level in Uruguay, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Ecuador, Paraguay and Sweden. Tuula has owned & bred Cocker Spaniels, Borzoi, Tibetan Terriers and Tibetan Spaniels, and first qualified to judge in 1982. She purchased her first dog in 1960, bred her first litter in 1978. She speaks Finnish, English, and Swedish fluently and has judged in Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Germany, England and USA.

FCI All Breeds

Since 1963, primary breed has been German Shepherds. He has produced more than 50 GSD Champions and has owned and held the top German Shepherd dog for more than 15 years. In addition, he has been involved in breeding and exhibiting Afghan Hounds, Basset Hounds, Beagles, Whippets, Borzoi, Old English Sheepdogs, Collies, Doberman Pinschers, Great Danes, Rottweilers, Schnauzers, Yorkshire Terriers, Standard Smooth Dachshunds, Chows, Irish Setters, Pointers, Dalmatians, Maltese, Pekingese, Japanese Chins, Poodles, (all varieties) and Shih Tzu. Ramon has owned and bred a record number of champions and top dogs in the country including Latin American International and World Champions. In total he has produced more than 250 champions including International and World Champions and many BIS winners. Been an All Breeds judge since 1978 and has judged in all Latin American countries Argentina, Mexico, Canada, Spain, Portugal, Austria, Finland, Israel, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Africa, Portugal, Italy, Sweden, Denmark, England, including World Dog Shows in Argentina, Brazil, Austria and Portugal and Royal Shows in Australia and Asian International Shows. He is a member of the Scientific Committee of the FCI and was President of the Kennel Club de Chile. Judged Sydney Royal 2005, and Melbourne Royal in 2008.

POPOVICH, Mrs. Nancy M.

CKC All Breeds

Nancy was approved to judge Terriers in 1994, she is now a Canadian All Breeds Best in Show judge. She has been involved in purebred dogs for almost forty years, successfully exhibiting many Airedales, Wire Fox and Lakeland Terriers. All specials owned and exhibited over the years were multiple group winners in very limited showing. In 1976, the top winning Airedale in Canada was achieved, followed almost twenty years later with top winning Lakeland in Canada . No longer actively breeding and exhibiting, she enjoys ring stewarding and teaching handling classes. A charter member of the Canadian Dog Judges Association, she is now the Editor of the CDJA National Newsletter. An artist specializing in flora and fauna, her interests include computers, writing fiction, golf, clothes design, growing roses and reading.

POWERS, Mr. David M.

AKC All Breeds

David was born in the United States of America and began judging in 1986. He is an All Breeds Judge. He has been involved with Dachshunds, Whippets, Miniature Pinschers, Poodles, Alaskan Malamutes, Cocker Spaniels (American), Wire Fox Terriers, Pulis and Welsh Corgi (Pembroke). He has judged in many countries including South America, China, Italy, Mexico and many states within the USA. Mr. Powers judged Toys, Non-Sporting, Hounds and Utility Groups at the 2008 Hobart Royal Show, Australia.

PRIDEAUX, Felicity

ANKC Toys, Terrier, Utility

Felicity's love affair with dogs started at 18 months of age, when she was given a Boxer bitch puppy. They were constant companions and she has had dogs ever since. She has just retired Australian Grand Champion Clarevale Lawman (who is a son of the American Import Am and Aust Ch Alberlarm Legal Eagle) from the showring . This wonderful dog is now 1/3 of the way towards his obedience title! A rare feat – particularly for a 6 year old pug who had no obedience training until he retired and he has a very novice obedience handler! Felicity is currently campaigning two of his sons, the eldest of whom was titled at 12 months and two weeks of age. The younger titled at 15 months with back-to-back Best Exhibit in Group awards. He has had an outstanding career to date, including Best of Breed Pug, Group #3 and Puppy in Group at the 2005 Sydney Royal Easter Show under Toy Specialist Mr Ramon Podesta (Chile) and an All Breeds Runner up Best in show.
Her involvement with the Administrative side came through the Canberra Toy Dog Club, where she has been on Committee since 1988. She was first elected to the ACTCA (then CKA) Council in 1995 and remained on council until 2004 when she did not stand for re-election. 
Felicity was granted her Toy licence in 1992, Terriers in 1995, Utility in 1997 and Working Dogs in 2000. She has judged throughout Australia, New Zealand, USA (Open Show) and South Africa (Toys, Terriers, Working Dogs and Utility).

ANKC All Breeds

Along with his Rita, they purchased a German Shepherd bitch in 1977 and entered the world of showing purebred dogs. In a matter of weeks his wife was bored of watching him in the show ring and decided to purchase a dog for her to show. She instantly fell in love with Samoyeds and they purchased their first show puppy in 1977. It was not long before Peter could not resist their charms and purchased a male for himself to show.
They bred their first litter of Samoyeds in 1979, which also produced their first of many Australian Champions under the Snowdara prefix.
Having dogs which could not be shown for long periods due to loss of coat, saw them obtain other breeds that would allow them to continually show all year round.
Peter and his wife exhibited, owned and bred one litter each of Border Collies and Afghans in the 80’s. 
1987 saw them enter into another breed being Lhasa Apso’s, once again they fell in love with another breed that was long coated but this time a lot smaller. Their first puppy saw them lead the ranks in the breed in their state and still today her record has not been matched.
Currently they still actively show and breed Samoyeds and Lhasa Apso’s under their Snowdara prefix and have only recently stopped showing in the hound ring. Their Samoyeds and Lhasa Apso’s bred under the Snowdara prefix have been producing Australian Champions and obtaining wins at all levels of the show ring since 1977. This involvement saw Peter and his wife enter the dog judges arena in 1982, with Peter gaining All Breeds status in 1996.
Judging extensively throughout Australia including the Canberra Royal show, his overseas appointments include Indonesia, Singapore and New Zealand and South Africa. He has judged breed specialty shows in: Samoyeds, Dobermans, Rottweilers, Boxers and Pekingese breeds.

PRITCHARD, Dr. Roger S.

AKC Working, Toys, Non-Sporting

He has been in dogs since a kid, actually started in dogs Bulldogs and Boxers in 1947. His family raised them. He was approved to judge in 1970 - Poodles. Moved to England in 1971 and showed his Standard Poodles, with his ex wife, Marilyn Willis of Springette Kennels, in Whitstable. They judged together in Denmark and returning to the states, he was approved for all Non Sporting breeds. Next he was approved for all Toy breeds and then all Working breeds. He has judged all breeds in Canada, Mexico, and in most Asian countries on a yearly basis, the latest in Beijing, China. Judging in Canada and Australia in 2006.
He has owned and bred breeds from all groups, with Poodles (all 3 varieties) being the major breed since the late 50's with many Best in Show wins. 
He is President of Poodle Club of Oklahoma City, Central Oklahoma Toy Dog Club (all Toy breeds), and Mid Del Tinker Kennel Club (All Breeds), and a member of Pomeranian Club of America, Japanese Chin Club of American, Bulldog Club of America, and The French Bulldog Club of America. 
Dr. Pritchard was born in Ohio and attended the Ohio State University before a tour of duty in the U.S. Navy. Upon his discharge, Dr. Pritchard settled in Oklahoma and continued his education at universities here and abroad, completing BA, MA, and Ph.D. degrees. He has been a businessman, teacher, school administrator, and mediator for the state of Oklahoma. "Breeding, exhibiting, and judging is my chosen hobby," he says. "The welfare of the breeds is my top priority when working with any concept of purebred dogs."
Dr. Pritchard is AKC-approved to judge the Working, Toy, and Non-Sporting groups and several herding breeds. He says that while teaching school in England during the early 1970s, "I had the privilege to continue learning about the dogs of Europe as well as judging in many countries." He has been a founder and organizer of all-breed clubs, a group club, and various specialty clubs and has served in all working capacities of dog clubs, including as an AKC delegate.
"Writing articles for breed magazines and working with people interested in purebred dogs continues to be a major part of my life," Dr. Pritchard says. He is the creator of a mentor program and a breed presenter for various breeds, has hosted many national specialties, and has organized breed-group seminars. He currently lives with a French Bulldog and a Toy Fox Terrier.
