Aase Jakobsen is one of three owners of a small company, which market subscriptions and ads for newspapers and magazines in Norway. Brought up with English Setter, but when the time came for owning a dog, she choose an English Cocker Spaniel. In 1979 the first Dalmatian arrived, Liberline’s California Clipper. The first Dalmatian litter was born in 1982, and during the years, more than 30 champions have been born at kennel Toots. Dogs have been exported to all the Nordic countries and to Israel and New Zealand. Breeder of the most winning Dalmatian in Norway for several years. Received the Norwegian Kennel Club’s prize of honor for breeding in 2007. The family also owns a whippet born in 1999. Since 1992 a judge for Dalmatians and now authorized for Dobermans, Rottweilers, Great Danes, Boxers, Schnauzer / Pinchers and Norwegian Lundehund. Group 7 is in progress. She speaks fluently English and has judged in New Zealand, Belgium, Germany, Denmark, Finland, Sweden and Norway. President of the local all breed dog club since 1989. |

Helen began exhibiting Dalmatians in 1952 but is best known for her long association with Poodles. With her husband, Howard, she has bred, owned, and handled several champions, including Ch. Alee What Price a Dream, one of the most influential sires in recent Poodle history. She has been an officer for several dogs clubs and is currently president of the Evergreen Colorado Kennel Club. Began judging obedience in 1958. By 1974 she was approved to judge all obedience classes, the Non-Sporting Group, the Toy Group, and several working breeds. That same year, she resigned from judging to join the AKC field staff, becoming one of only two woman field representatives at the time. Mrs. James retired from the field staff in 1991 and resumed judging, eventually becoming an all-breed judge. Career highlights include judging the Toy Group at the 2002 Westminster show, Best in Show assignments at the International and Golden Gates shows, and judging Standard Poodles at the Poodle Club of America specialty show in 1972. |

Guy was born in old colonial Rhodesia, now Zimbabwe, into a family owned by Dachshunds. Guy also has a love for all animals and was an avid horseman. The Grand Gables Kennel was registered in 1972, when Guy acquired his first Shetland Sheepdog, hence his involvement in both Shelties and Dachshunds. Tony was born in the U.K. into a dog orientated family, his Father having working dogs (Border Collies & Pembroke Corgi) and his mother having gundogs (Cocker Spaniels). The natural consequence was that he should also become involved at a very early age. His main involvement has been in the Terrier Group, in which he breeds Bull Terriers with success for many years and is currently an R.O.M. judge for the breed, and more recently the Soft Coated Wheaten. Tony also has a very strong affiliation with the Working and Gundog Groups stemming from his parents. Di and her husband Rob acquired their first Rhodesian Ridgeback from Mrs. Dot Tresize of Trezridge Kennels in Western Australia in 1976. Later the bitch Ch Lwillows Red Dove arrived and she became the foundation bitch of their RAVVAR kennels. They have bred and owned some wonderful RR’s since then, including Ch. Groberspals Be Fair, Ch. Ravvar Red Sahara, Ch. Ravvar Red Cor Caroli, Ch. Ravvar Cor Elara, Ch. Ravvar Cor Thalia, Ravvar Cor Aldebaran, Ch. Ravvar Thalia Danae and Ch. Ravvar Thalia Calliope. All have done well, but in particular Ch Ravvar Red Cor Caroli (Caroli) who was Best in Show at the RRC (NSW) Specialty (125 entries) in 1989 under Stig Carlson. Stig featured Caroli in several of his books where he describes her as one of the ultimate best bitches he has seen. Also Ch Ravvar Thalia Danae received BOB (75 entries) under English breed specialist Dorothy Grayson-Wood at the Ladies Kennel Club of the ACT in 1996. Di has also shown an Irish Terrier, bred and shown a Jack Russell Terrier, and she and Rob are currently showing a Whippet. Di has judged in all states of Australia except the NT. She has judged Rhodesian Ridgeback Specialties in Victoria, Western Australia and New Zealand. In 2009 she is judging several breeds at two International Shows in Finland. |

Victor held a position as Councillor for the CCCQ for over 25 years, and is now an Honorary Life Councillor. He has bred Cocker Spaniels since 1953 under the Waratah prefix, importing dogs from the UK for their small but successful kennel.
