Has owned, bred and handled over 100 Champions to their Irish Title and many to their UK, Swedish, Danish Finish, Thai Championship titles with great pleasure. Had the honor of exhibiting a Best in Show winner at prestigious Irish Kennel Club International Show, Top Showdog of The Year Awards on several occasions and Best Of Breed winners and CC winners at Crufts.  Owned or handled the following breeds: German Shepard, Rottweilers, Samoyeds, Giant Schnauzers, St Bernard's, Great Danes, Boxers Belgian Shepard's Poodles all Sizes Lhasa Apso, Shih Tzu, Bulldog, Japanese Spitz, Chow Chow, Keeshonds, American Cockers, Dachshunds, and most of the Toy Group.  He awarded Best in Show in 1999 and scheduled to judge best in Show at Swords & District June 2005; has judged the Toy Group on 7 different occasions last being October 2001 Sligo & District Canine Club. The Working Group on 2 occasions last also being Sligo 2001.  Has judged the Utility Group on 2 occasions last being August 2004 Killarney. Also award CACIB's in the Working, Utility and Toy groups and CAC's in the above breeds in all FCI Countries. Awards Challenge Certificates in Pomeranians & Papillons in the UK.  Secretary of the Pomeranian Club in Ireland for the last 10 years and is an Irish Kennel Club Representative. 

All Terrier Breeds

Thomas started his show career in 1966, when he handled Staffordshire Bull Terriers and Bull Terriers at shows. At the same year he got his prefix “Moindearg” and he has bred Staffies and Bull Terriers with great success. 
He has been Chairman of the Irish Staffordshire Bull Terrier Club and Irish Bull Terrier Club. He has been member over 20 years in different committees in the Irish Kennel Club and at the moment he is chairman of the Sword&District Canine Society. This society is one of the organizers in the second biggest dog show in Ireland. 
Thomas became a judge in 1979 and he is qualified to judge all terrier breeds recognized by the Irish Kennel Club. He has been judging in all the Nordic Countries as well as in Australia, Belgium, England, South Africa, Luxembourg, Portugal, Germany and Hungary. Among the shows he has judged are numerous Specialties.

All Breeds. Came from doggy family, her father was Terrier man and her mom was Boxer devotee. Has completed 15 English Ch. on Boxers, Poodles, Lhasa Apsos & Bostons and about 80  Irish Ch.  Currently shows Boxers, Poodles and Lhasa's and has previously bred & handled Pugs, Shelties, Boston's, Beagles, Whippets & Wire Fox Terriers.  First judging assignment in 1968 and approved since 1984 to judge all Groups and BIS at Irish Ch. shows. In 1977 she was approved to award C.C.'s in Boxers under English Kennel Club rules at Open show level.  Australia - first judged there in 1976 and has since judged there 4 times. In 1982 was approved to award C.C. in Boston's and has judged this breed at Crufts. In 1992 approved to award C.C. in Poodles. In 1993 judged all breeds at Malaysian Ch. show, and has judged at Helsinki International Show. In 1994 judged various breeds in Sweden and has been back many times since. Judged Stockholm International show on 2 occasions, and also in that year judged in Norway. This year also saw her first assignment in Canada, Utility breeds, Working, Terriers, Sighthounds, Groups and BIS. Judged in Canada again in 1977 & 2000. Has judged in Thailand, New Zealand, Belgium to BIS level. She judges average of 12 to 14 shows a year including overseas assignments. 

The third generation of her family to be involved in the dog world. Her breed involvements include her grandmother's Airedales, Lakeland's, Sealyhams and Cocker Spaniels, also her mother's Dachshunds. In her own right, Joyce has owned Dachshunds, Toy Poodles, Miniature Schnauzers and Bichon Frise. Commenced her judging career in 1976 and awarded the Terrier Group in 1985 followed by the Hound Group in 1986. She awarded her first Green Stars in Dachshunds in 1976, Airedales in 1978. Over the past thirty years she has judged a number of breeds in Ireland. She is qualified to judge Terriers, Hounds, Toys & Utility. Judging assignments have taken her throughout Europe and Australia (2000, 2005 & 2006).

All Breeds. He is an All Rounder and a Terrier specialist. Started in pedigree dogs in 1953. He has bred more than 100 English, Irish and Foreign Champions under the "Blackdale" prefix. Most of these were terriers. He has however successfully bred Irish Setters, Cocker Spaniels, Labradors. Wolfhounds, Basser Hounds, Beagles, Pugs, Bulldogs, Shetland Sheepdogs, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Pomeranians, Yorkshire Terriers and many of the Terrier breeds. He now specialises in Wire Haired Fox Terriers. He still continues to show these and has won Best in Show at Crufts 8 times with 8 different exhibits. His kennels have produced top winning dogs in many countries and is regarded as one of the worlds most famous.  Began judging in 1961 and became an all breeds judge in 1971. He now judges all breeds, all groups and Best in Show throughout the world. He is also an FCI approved all breeds judge. He has judged major canine venets in Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Germany, Switzerland, Finland, Latvia, Spain, Italy, Portugal, France, Argentina, Austria, Estonia, Uruguay, Cuba, Australia, New Zealand, USA, Holland, Belgium, Russia, Japan, South Africa, Canada, Taiwan, Malta, Greece, Cyprus, Ukraine, England and Ireland. He has also judged the World Show and Crufts on a number of occasions.
