Dave, a retired police officer, and his wife bred Pembroke Welsh Corgis under the Crossland prefix for nearly 30 years, with many champions to their credit in Canada and elsewhere. During his involvement with their breed Dave served as President and/or secretary on the executives of both the P.W.C.A. (C) and the Oakville and District Kennel Club. In addition, for several years now, in an effort to promote canine knowledge and to encourage upcoming judging candidates, he has been closely involved as a director with the Central Ontario Judge's Study Group, arranging and running educational seminars. These have proven to be very successful, providing aspiring judges with insight into a wide selection of CKC recognised breeds as well as some of the less well-known or rare breeds.
Since 1990, Dave has been honoured to judge many times in Canada, the USA, Scotland, Ireland, Cuba, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Australia and Mexico, and has also several times been invited to judge "Rare Breeds" in Canada and the US (i.e. breeds which are working towards recognition).

Jochen was born 1943 in Heidelberg, Germany. Studied Law, Engineering and Architecture in Heidelberg, Geneva (Switzerland) and Karlsruhe. Architect. 
Languages: English (active, fluent), French (active, somewhat rusty). Married, one son (30).
Started with Beagles in 1970, co-founder of the Beagle Club Deutschland in 1974. Successful breeder of Beagles, Kennel Name \'True Line\'s ... (FCI)\', shared by wife Silke. Other breeds: Border Terrier, Rhodesian Ridgeback. Currently wife Silke campaigns various Lagotti Romagnoli with outstanding success. 
Author of books on the Beagle, the Rhodesian Ridgeback and Collie/Sheltie. In 1985 elected as honorary advisor to the German Kennel Club (Verband fuer das Deutsche Hundewesen e.V., VDH) on breeding and registration matters, chaired the appropriate subcommittee until 2004. Held many other functions in the VDH. Delegated into the FCI Breeding Commission in 1998, since then presiding this Commission until 2004. Started judging Beagles in 1974, went on to become specialist judge for a total of 31 breeds.  Appointed as one of Germany's currently seven all-breed-judges in 1995.  Has so far judged in 33 countries in Europe and Scandinavia to include England, Scotland and Ireland, but also in Russia and the Republic of China (Taiwan), Australia and the Philippines as well as in Canada. Dogs judged amount to approximately 43.000 exhibits overall. Judging appointments presently reach into 2011.

Lyn is a well-respected breeder/exhibitor of Poodles and Bichon Frise. Lyn began attending lectures for a couple of years to learn as much as she could about different breeds and decided to take up judging in 1975. attaining All Breeds Status in 1990. It has been a wonderful career for her and she has judged in all capitals of Australia and New Zealand, where she has always been made so welcome and has some great friends, Singapore, & Manila, where she was looked after so well and has great memories. Lyn  judged Toys and Dwarfs in Denmark and was invited to judge General Specials All Breeds which was a great thrill. She judged Standard Poodles with a entry of 96 in Manchester, England in 1993. L yn's best Standard was INT. CH. Racketeer Exquisite Sinner At Vanitonia, a glorious dog and one embedded in her mind.

Tapio is the editor-in-chief of the Finnish Kennel Club magazine "Koiramme" (Our Dogs). He has been a Judge since 1993 and can judge 320 FCI breeds to date. Tapio breeds and exhibits Hovawart, Carelian Bear Dogs and Cairn Terriers, under the prefix "Hovarian". He has been the chairman of the Finnish Hovawart clubs breeding commission for over 20 years, and Vice-President of the International Hovawart Federations (IHF) which has 14 member countries. He is also a Judge for character tests in Finland. Raised on a dairy cattle farm, Cheryl's family bred Holstein cattle. Father first dairy farmer in their province to produce cattle by Artificial Insemination. Cheryl's father trained quarter horses while stationed in Western Canada during the war years and upon his return began cattle breeding. She was always very much a part of this with keen interest. They had both herding and working dogs, as well as cattle and horses.
Cheryl has had Basenjis since 1967 and Scottish Deerhounds since 1988. She has exhibited in Canada and USA and owner-handler the first BIS Basenji in Canada in 15 years. Breeder of top ranking Basenjis since 1968. Winner of Basenji Club of America National Specialty, Baltimore, MD 1989. Top ranking Canadian Dogs in the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. She has had approximately 50 basenjis and has owned and co-owned both Canadian and American Champions numbering a total of 15. She belongs to the Basenji Club of America, Basenji Breeders Club of Northern England, and Basenji Club of America; a life member of the Canadian Kennel Club and has played a very active role in the dog world.
First licensed to judge in 1984 and approved to judge all breeds in Canada in 1991, and has been invited to judge in Australia, Perth and Sydney, and throughout Canada, USA, South America, Mexico, and was approved to judge the Basenji Championship specialty in England.
In 1999 Cheryl was elected to the Canadian Kennel Club Board of Directors. She served as Chair of Legislation Committee, and Chair of Lure Coursing and Beagle Councils. She also served as a working member on the Events Officiating Committee for Judges Education and did several presentations for Advanced Judges Conferences. Cheryl was instrumental in re-organizing the Basenji Club of Canada, which now has a strong membership and holds national specialties every year throughout Canada. She is an active member of the Atlantic Regional Conformation Judges Groups which consists of judges in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland.

Chie Ejima (Yamakado) has been involved in the Dog World since she was child as her parents were both breeders. She has bred Akita, Japanese Spitz and she is a successful breeder of Papillons and Golden Retrievers, under the world-renowned prefix Queen Bless, recognized by the JKC and FCI. She has bred in excess of 500 champion titles and exported dogs all over the world. Her Papillons are the most titled dogs in this breed, all over the world. Her breeding include also 2 BOBs & 2 BOSS & many AOM at Westminster, 3 BISS & 2 BOS at the National Papillon Specialty in USA, and 2 European Winners. Her Papillons are number 1 ranking in USA and in Australia and they are top winning in Finland, Japan, Germany, Belgium, Italy, winning many BIS around the world .
Chie Ejima (Yamakado) got her all-breeds judging licence in 1998. She has judged in Japan, Italy, Sweden, Finland, Australia, and Singapore.
From 1980 to 2005 she worked as professional handler and she has handled many different breeds all over the world, in America, UK and many other European countries, going BIS on many occasions. She is the President of the biggest show area under Japanese Kennel Club and also a Member of the Breeders Committee of the Japanese Kennel Club.

Jan-Erik was born in Gothenburg (Göteborg) in 1962, moved to Söderköping (county of Östergötland) in 1987, an approximately two hour drive south-east of Stockholm. To date he's not done any breeding for the last three years but feel it's about time he did, so probably something will happen during winter/spring 2009.
Jan-Erik became a licensed judge (FCI) in 2006 and is qualified to judge Skye Terriers and West Highland White Terriers in Group 3 and English Springer Spaniels, Flatcoated, Golden, and Labrador Retrievers in Group 8. He's been judging at international shows in Sweden, Norway and Finland as well as a Labrador Club main specialty show in Finland.  During 2009, 2010 and 2011 Jan-Erik is looking forward to some exciting assignments in Sweden as well as overseas! Jan-Erik works part time as an assisting nurse at a hospital in Norrköping and owns six Labradors, which include BIS Thornbreaker's Bit of Class, "Blondie". He also has Skye Terriers.

Eva was brought up with dogs. Her actual dog career started in 1955 by breeding mainly English Setters and also Smooth coated Dachshunds for field trial purposes. From 1966-1990 Eva bred Siberian Huskies. She bred over 100 show Champions of which 8 different dogs won All Breeds B.I.S. awards. She was also active in sled dog racing. She moved to N.Z. in 1990 and shortly after that she started breeding Whippets. She has also been involved in breeding Old English Sheep Dogs and bred Champions and two All Breeds B.I.S. winners in N.Z. and Australia. Eva started judging in 1969 and got her first championship show license in Finland. When she moved from Finland she was qualified to judge 178 breeds. In 1991 she gained her All Breeds license in N.Z. She has judged in Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Italy, South Africa, Australia, Canada, the Philippines and New Zealand.

Kay and her husband purchased their first Basenji in 1973 having become interested in the breed after seeing the movie "Goodbye My Lady" which was the story of a Basenji. They had the good fortune to purchase an outstanding bitch puppy and were persuaded to join the “dog showing fraternity” which they did with much enthusiasm. Over the ensuing years, there have been numerous champions bred under their prefix “Jebelmarra” and she has enjoyed considerable success in the show ring at the top levels of competition. In 1980 she obtained her judging licence for the Hound Group and over the years gradually added Terriers, then Utility, Working Dogs, Non Sporting, Gundogs and Toys to become an all-breeds judge. She has officiated at many shows in all States of Australia, plus New Zealand, the Philippines, Japan, South Africa, USA, Sweden, Taiwan. Canada, China and England, including Crufts for The Kennel Club.

Caron has been involved all of her life with breeding/exhibiting Labrador Retrievers. Her mother commenced some 40 years ago and Caron has taken on their prefix Bradorla which has been one of the most successful kennels in Australia. They are the breeders of multi Best in Show winning Labradors at both All Breeds & Specialty Shows. Caren has judged The Gun Dog Specialty Show in New Zealand, and in Victoria & South Australia. For many years she had top winning pugs through the well known & respected Birsay kennel in Victoria. She still has an interest in the breed. In later years she also has had an interest in her husband’s breeds - Weimaraners, Afghans & Fox Terriers (Smooth).

Espen Engh received his first Greyhound at age 4, and at 9 was exhibiting his first show dog, Int. Ch. Jet Commander to an international championship. He began breeding greyhounds in partnership with his mother in 1975, and in 2001 and 2003 he owned, bred, and handled Norway's top dog, all breeds. The Jet Greyhounds have produced 155 homebred champions, winning more than 520 champion titles in 56 countries worldwide, BOB-winners at Crufts, Westminster and several World Shows, more than 30 BIS winners and seven consecutive generations of BIS-winning bitches. Dr. Engh considers the establishment and continuation of this line to be his most important contribution to the sport.
Engh was approved to judge sighthounds in 1987 and now judges breeds in all the 10 FCI groups as well as Best in Show. He has officiated at several hundred events in the following countries: Australia, Austria, Azerbaidjan, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia-Hercegovina, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Colombia, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, England, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Mexico, Monaco, Morocco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Northern Ireland, Norway, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, San Marino, Scotland, Serbia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine, Uruguay, USA and Wales and with several more countries coming up. He has officiated at many of the top shows in the UK such as Crufts, Windsor and the Welsh Kennel Club, has judged extensively in the US including nine Parent Club specialties, Santa Barbara, Del Valle and the AKC Invitational as well as several times at the FCI World, European, Asian and Americas shows.

Robert attended his first dog show in 1964 with his family's American Cocker Spaniel. This began a life-long dedication to the world of purebred dogs. However, it was not until graduating from college in 1973 that he began exhibiting and breeding dogs in ernest. While maintaining a small hobby kennel, he exhibited American Cocker Spaniels and Irish Setters. He has finished over 40 champions.
Robert's judging career began in 1992. Presently, he judges the Sporting and Toy groups, as well as some breeds in the Working and Non-Sporting groups, and Best in Show. Among the prestigious shows he has been honored to judge are both the Canadian and the U.S. American Cocker Spaniel National Specialty Shows as well as judging the Sporting Group at the 2009 Westminster K. C. show. Mr. Ennis is a life member of the American Spaniel Club and currently serves as the Chairman for the Judges' Education Committee.

In 1981 Børge was at the military dog training school in the east of Norway. He developed a friendship with Eivind and Grete Sofie Mjærum with the Mjærumhøgda’s affix and on the weekends they went to a lot of dog shows and Børge got a super possibility to be
a good handler of dogs of different breeds, as the kennel had both Golden Retrievers and Samoyeds. In 1982 he became qualified to be a ring steward under the rules of the Norwegian Kennel Club.
In 1984 Børge judgedhis first puppy show and regularly judged either an open show, puppy show or match show. In 1988 he had his first foreign judging appointment for Golden's at Machars open show up in Scotland, and in 2001 he judged a very nice super match show in Essex outside London. Børge is fluent in German, Danish, English, Norwegian, and Swedish.
