DAHLE, Inger

FCI Specialist Bulldog, Bullmastiff, Dobermann, German Boxer, Rottweiler

Inger is the head of the Show Department for the Norwegian Kennel Club. Married with one son, she has been involved with Bullmastiffs since 1991 under the prefix Bullebo. She has bred 17 National and 3 International Champions and is the founder member of the Norwegian Bullmastiff Club since 1987. A certified instructor from the K-9 unit, Norwegian Armed Forces as well as an instructor with Norwegian Search & Rescue dogs and a licensed FCI ring steward. Inger has been judging since 2004 and has judged extensively throughout Norway, Sweden, Hungary, Indonesia and the Netherlands. She holds future appointments to judge in Norway, Sweden and Ireland. Inger is licensed to judge Bullmastiffs, Doberman's, Rottweilers, Boxers and Bulldogs and has judged these at Specialty Shows throughout Scandinavia. Fluent in Danish, English, Norwegian, and Swedish.

DAKIC, Mr. Rade

FCI Groups 2, 3 , 5 & 9

Rade Dakic was involved with dogs since his childhood. He was a owner of a various dog breeds as are German Shepherd, Sarplaninatz, Owzarek Podhalanski, etc, etc.... His serious dog work starts with terriers and to this group of dogs he dedicated the most of his kinological work. He has owned Airedales, German Hunting Terrier, Westie, Bullterriers, Staffordshire Bullterrier, but his biggest love are American Staffordshire Terriers. Rade was one of the first breeders of Amstaffs in Europe and got his first Amstaff in 1986. In his Franstal's kennel he has produced about 30 national, International, American, Canadian, Thailand, Mexican and club champions on four continents.
Rade Dakic wrote over 20 books about dogs which had a lot of editions. He was also correspondent of various dog magazines. He is member of WDPA (World Dog Press Association ). He has judged at the most prestigious shows in Europe, from Russia to Portugal , at National Specialties, Bundessieger shows, National Elevage, Punto Obligatorio, INTERRA, European Dog show, etc, etc.... Rade is fluent in English And Russian.

DARLING, Leonie

Leonie commenced exhibiting and breeding English Setters in 1976 under the Genteel prefix. In the 1980's she became involved in the obedience field with Border Collie's titling a number of dogs. Under the Dlarah prefix Leonie has bred a number of Swedish Vallhund Champions, class in group, group 2 & 1 winners, the first Australian male and female Grand Champions and Best in Show all breeds winner. In addition to showing Leonie is an accomplished author having self published and written 'The Swedish Vallhund (Vastgotaspets): A Legacy of the Vikings which has sold throughout the world. She also has the distinction of being the first Swedish Vallhund breeder in Australia to export the breed back to Scandinavia with Dlarah dogs being campaigned in Finland, Sweden, UK, Canada, USA and NZ. Dlarah dogs have gained Australian, New Zealand, Swedish, Finnish, Latvia, Estonian, Norwegian, Nordic and International championships.
Leonie recently had the honour of attending the World Dog Show in Stockholm, Sweden 2008 and judging the Finnish Swedish Vallhund Specialty in Helsinki. Club administration includes English Setter Club NSW; founder, holder of all executive positions and life member. Dogs NSW; Public relations committee member and chairperson, organisation of Sydney Pet and Animal Expo dog section 5 years. Current involvement includes; the World Wide Swedish Vallhund database and development of the World Wide Swedish Vallhund Alliance and executive of Western Region Working Dog Club NSW. Leonie enjoys the opportunity to travel, met and communicating with dog enthusiasts throughout the world, having travelled to NZ, USA, Canada, UK, Slovakia, Austria, Finland and Sweden. 

DAVERN, Mrs. Pluis

Claire started with Golden Retriever in 1967, and has had a long and successful career as a dog trainer, professional handler and judge, and has bred and owned Best in Show, Master Hunter and Obedience and Agility titled Sussex Spaniels. As a breeder and trainer, she is dedicated to the concept of form and function. 
She is a board member of the Sussex Spaniel Club of America, a member of the Vizsla Club of America, the Golden Retriever Club of America, The Labrador Retriever Club Inc, the Salinas Valley Kennel Club, and the Monterey Bay Hunting Retriever Club. Currently, she is approved by the American Kennel Club to judge the Sporting Group and is provisional for nine hounds in that Group as well as Junior Showmanship. Some "Spaniel" highlights have been judging Clumbers, English Cockers, Sussex Spaniels, Irish Water Spaniels and Welsh Springer Spaniels at Westminster in 2005. Also, in 2002 Claire judged the Cascade English Cocker Specialty and the Willamette English Springer Spaniel Specialty and more recently the British Colombia ESS Specialty in Canada.

DAVIS, Mr Lowell K

Lowell Davis has been involved in the sport of Pure Bred Dogs for over fifty years, Starting with Smooth Standard Dachshunds. Starting in 1963, he and his wife, Arlene, got into showing and breeding Great Danes, and that is what they are best known for. Although their breeding program was somewhat limited, they bred many many USA Champions including 3 All-Breed best in Show winners and Specialty Winners too numerous to mention. Although they have not bred any Danes since the late 1980s The "Davis" bloodlines are behind most of the current top winning Fawn and Brindle Danes in the USA and Japan. 
Besides Danes the Davis's have bred and owned Champion Fox Terriers, Pembroke Welsh Corgis, Standard Wirehaired Dachshunds, and Pointers. They now live with two Champion Standard Wirehaired Dachshunds which they bred and a Champion Pembroke Welsh Corgi. 
Lowell Davis is approved to judge All Working Breeds, All Hound Breeds, All Terrier Breeds, and all Herding Breeds, and most of the Sporting Breeds in the USA. Besides judging in all parts of the USA, he has judged in Canada, Finland, Australia, Sweden, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Mexico, and Venezuela. 

DAWSON, Mr. Robert (Bob) L T

FCI All Breeds  

An Australian, Robert has worked in the Asia and the Pacific region for over 28 years. He is currently a senior executive with the Asian Development Bank, a multilateral finance institution, of which Australia is a member. In dogs he has concentrated on Pugs, Boston Terriers, Miniature Dachshund, Basenji, and Bulldogs, breeding and campaigning many to their Philippine Grand Champions and Champions. He has also made-up AKC Champions in pugs. He is active in the show ring and has won a number of Best in Shows with his dogs. His kennel prefix is "Kawana". Mr. Dawson is a former Director on the Board of the Philippine Canine Club, the parent canine body in the Philippines. For many years he was the Chair of the Affiliated Clubs Committee and the Judges' Committee, and was actively involved in the creation of breed and group clubs. He was a founding member of the Pug Club of the Philippines and the Boston Terrier Club of the Philippines, and is now the Advisor to both clubs. He is President of the Hound Group Club of the Philippines. Mr Dawson judges all-breeds under the Philippine Canine Club Inc., list of breeds. He has judged in all-breed and specialty shows in Australia, Finland, New Zealand, India, Japan, Thailand, Switzerland, Latvia, Indonesia, Russia, Germany (Bundessieger Dortmouth), England, Singapore, Ireland, Malaysia, Canada, Sweden, Switzerland, South Africa and the United States, as well as in all of the major centers in the Philippines. He has critiqued in most FCI countries. He has judged Best in Show in most of these countries. Some of the specialties judged include Pugs (Australia, New Zealand, Japan, USA, Philippines); Boston Terrier (Australia and Philippines) Australian Shepherd (Finland and Philippines); Chow Chow (USA and Canada); Cavalier King Charles Spaniel (Canada), Doberman Pinscher (New Zealand and Philippines) and French Bulldog (Japan). He has been active in judges' training schemes and has given seminars in a number of breeds. 

DEAN, Mr. W. Everett, Jr.  

AKC Sporting, Hound, Working, Toy, Non-Sporting

Was born in Savannah, Georgia, where he began his lifelong association with Cocker Spaniels. In his time as a breeder, he finished some fifteen Cocker champions. He worked in the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Savannah office until 1955, when he became a professional handler. In his handling career he guided many Cockers (among other breeds) to championships, including Ruth and Art Benhoff CH. Artru Hot Rod, with whom he won Best in Show at the American Spaniel Club shows in 1958 and 1959.  Long one of the busiest judges on the circuit, he has officiated at the Westminster show several times: breed assignments; the 1996 Sporting Group; and Best in Show in 2002, when he selected the miniature Poodle Ch. Surrey Spice Girl.  He has been an active member of the Savannah Kennel Club, the Cocker Spaniel Club of Savannah, the Charleston Kennel Club, and the Virginia Kennel Club, and is a life member of the American Spaniel Club. Mr. Dean has organized and taught at seminars, and has been a panelist at more than thirty AKC hands-on testing events in several breeds. Although Mr. Dean has enjoyed many pastimes-baseball, bowling, tennis, fishing, bridge, and the breeding of tropical fish and birds - he admits, "Judging dog shows is my thing. I love it! Finding that very special dog makes my day.".  Judging Papillons, Pekingese, Pomeranians, Pugs, & Yorkshire Terriers at Westminster in 2009.

Mrs deBruyne has been involved with purebred dogs since 1961, Golden Retrievers and Springer Spaniels. Judging since 1978 and reached all breed status in 1988. Has judged in Australia, South America, USA, Europe, Bermuda and Puerto Rico. Has been Director of the C.K.C. for past 14 years.

DE CUYPER, Mr. Georges

Mr de Cuyper has been member of the Belgian Association since 1987. As a breeder he made himself remarked in 1978, when he started breeding Golden Retrievers, then later on Flat Coated and Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers. He bred many national and international champions, obtaining with four generations of Nova Scotia four World Champion titles. Mr. Cuyper stopped breeding as he got his judging license and in 1989 was elected member of the Belgian Judge Committee. He has held lectures on genetical, nutritional, microbiological, anatomical and physiological topics. He got his license in 1999 and since then he has judged in: Belgium, Portugal, Russia, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Ireland, France, Lithuania, Norway, Holland, Luxemburg, Italy, Lithuania, Croatia, etc.
He is the president of the Belgian National Flat Coated Retriever Club and chairman of the Scientific Committee of Saint Hubert Royal Society. He is president of honor of many other clubs and since 1999 member of the Directing Committee of the Belgian National Association as well.

DEKARISTOU, Maria-Marionka

FCI All Rounder

Born 1956 in Athens, Maria has studied business tourism and interior decorating. She has one daughter and 2 grandchildren. As a child, she grew up with dogs (both purebreds and half-breeds). From the 1970’s till today she is heavily involved in the efforts being made to solve the problem with stray dogs, mainly through the “St. Francis of Assisi Dog Rescue Shelter”. 
Her kennel is named “KAMARI MOU” and she breeds English Cocker Spaniels, Papillon and Phalene.
She has owned Grenendahl Belgian Shepherds, Boxer, St. Bernard, Cocker Spaniels, Japanese Spitz and Papillons. Her Papillon “INKIES VOYAGER VICTOR” became an International, Greek and Bulgarian Champion and by the age of three. 
However, the breed, which has truly captured her heart from the moment it entered her life, is the Cocker Spaniel. She was one of the founders of the Spaniel Club of Greece, founded in 1996, and has been repeatedly elected as its President since its foundation till the present day. To date, the Club has to its credit 3 dog seminars, 11 successful dog shows and is presently preparing its 12th. She is also Secretary of the British Sheepdog Club of Greece, and a founding member of the Retriever Club of Greece and a member of the Kennel Club of Greece, the Athens Canine Society, the Old English Sheepdog Club of Greece, the Schnauzer Club of Greece, the “London Spaniel Society”, “The Cocker Spaniel Club”, amongst other clubs both locally and abroad. She was the speaker at the seminar regarding “Rage Syndrome” at the “Star Dogs” school for dog trainers.
Maria is an all breed judge (all rounder) and is authorized to judge finals and Best In Show. She has judged in both Greece and in several European countries. This year she has been so far asked to judge in Holland, Czech Republic, Estonia, Germany, Sweden and Finland.
She also has a regular monthly column in the Greek dog newspaper “TOP DOGS” (which specializes in dog shows) as well as in the Greek dog magazine “Our Dogs and Us” where she writes articles dealing with breeds, shows, judging, handling etc. and is also a member of the WDPA (World Dog Press Association).

Pedro Sanches Delerue, University Degree in Business & Management, start showing dogs at 6 years old. In 1978 he started his own affix "Quinta D`ABroeira", breeding Old English Sheepdogs, Teckels, Cão da Serra D`Aires and now English Bulldogs. This is, the top record title breeder in Portugal, and maybe in the world, with more than 60 Champions and 35 titles of European or world Champions on 4 different breeds. His dogs have won more than 300 groups and 50 BIS, top dogs all breeds in puppy, junior and adults. Also as groomer, he is the winner of the title of "Golden Scissor". He's the president of the Teckel Club of Portugal, the Clube Português do Cao da Serra de Aires and Bulldog Club of Portugal, and for 12 years member of the fiscal committee of the Portuguese Kennel Club. Writer of the first and only book of the "Serra de Aires" and the technical responsible for the new standard of the breed, approved in 2004, also writer of many articles in many different magazines in many countries. International judge since 1990, he has had the pleasure and honor of judging in most of the top shows in the world. Fluent in English, Spanish, Italian & French.

Has had Dalmatians since 1966, later on Irish Wolfhounds completed her dog team. Her prefix is IRDALLYS. Under this prefix she has shown and bred Dalmatians successfully. About 15 years ago Smooth Griffons took her interest.
She is the founding member of the Belgian Irish Wolfhound Club and was chairperson until last year. The Chairperson of the Belgian Chihuahua Club for many years, and was the editor of the Belgian Dalmatian Club news for 25 years. Judged Perth Royal 2007.

DE SANTIAGO,  Prof.  Rafael

Rafael has been active in dogs since 1960, Treasurer of the Federation Cynologique Internationale (FCI), President of the Federación Canófila de Puerto Rico and member of the Standard Commission of the F.C.I. until 1999. 
Under his kennel name, “Radesa”, Rafael, with Roberto Velez-Pico has bred Afghan Hounds, Briards, Scottish Deerhounds and Lakeland Terriers. Achieved Championships status for many of his bred Afghans. Licensed to judge all breeds since 1984. Has judged all over the world, including FCI World Dog Shows in Peru, Netherlands, Belgium, Mexico, Israel, Switzerland, Austria, Puerto Rico, Finland, Italy, Portugal, Germany, Brazil and Argentina. Judged the first International FCI Dog Show in China in 2006. 
Other important assignments include judging Best in Show at Milan International, Italy 1991. Judged “Dog of The Year” at Portugal; Collare de Oro, Italy; The Supreme FCI Championship 1997; Westminster Kennel Club in New York, 1995; Denmark, Australia, Ireland, Brazil, Canada, Russia, Spain, Gibraltar, France, USA, Chile, Venezuela, Guatemala, Finland, Ukraine, Argentina, Panama, Uruguay, Japan, Slovakia and Colombia among many other countries. The Hound and Gundog groups breeds have been a constant in his judging carrier. 
As President of Imagen Optima, an Advertising and Public Relations firm based in San Juan, has developed corporate campaigns for global clients, such as Bausch & Lomb, Danosa, Abbott Laboratories, Marshalls, AT&T and Puerto Rican Cement Company.

DESCHUYMERE, Mr Norman

Norman received his first dog in 1968, it was a grey Poodle of the name "Quarter Of Tellot. In 1972 he became a member of the Defence Dog Club which was near him and he was the General Secretary up to 2003. During this same time he got a Belgian Shepherd Malinois named "YIF" with whom he competed in many competitions for "defence and country dogs".
In 1972 the club wanted to organize their first exposition of different purebred dogs of the 1st and 2nd groups and it was at that time that he became interested in long haired Belgian Shepherds, more specifically the " Groenendael". It was during this exposition that he had the occasion to meet Mr. G. Tanghe who knew that he was interested in breeding and recommended Schipperkes from Belgium who were at that time a little neglected in their country. In 1975 Norman requested the kennel name de la Quièvre from the Royal Society of Saint Hubert and since that time has raised many champions in both Belgians and Schipperkes around the world. Since 1978 he has been the Secretary and then President of the Royal Belgian Shepherd club up to 1991 at which time he became the President of the Royal Union Club of Belgian Shepherds until 1995.
In 1981 he put forward his candidacy for judging with the Royal Union Cynologique Saint Hubert and has since judged in Europe, USA, Argentina & Australia. Norman is the President of the Assembly of Delegates of the Royal Union Cynologique Saint Hubert , Vice-President of the Commission of Judges Qualifications, President of the Belgian Club for English Dwarf Spaniels, Pekingese and Japanese Chins, Vice-President of the Bouvier Club, member of the Royal Breeding Commission of the Schipperke Club, Canine Club, Chihuahua Club, Bichon Club, Spaniel Club, Pekingese Club, Japanese Chin Club & Siberian Husky Club. Member of the Royal Belgian Terrier Club, and Belgian Association of Cairn Terriers. He is also a Belgium delegate of F.C.I. « Judges commission & Exposition commission of F.C.I.

Erwin is a breeder of Dachshunds of all sizes and hair varieties and Zwergschnauzer-Black-Black and Silver and Pepper and Salt, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and Shelties. He is 20 Years President of the Steirischen Hundesport klub, 2 Years President of Windhundeclub, 10 Years Chairman of Dachshundeklub, 5 Years for Schnauzer - Pinscher Club and 2 Years President of Dalmatiner Club. He was for 2 Years Vice- President for Doberman Club, 7 Years General Secretary, 2 Years Show-Master, 5 Years -Judge -Adviser and 1 Years - Vice-President of the Austrian Kennel club. At this time Advisor of the Austrian Kennel club. He is all-rounder judge and he has been judging for 20 years, and judges many shows in Austria and foreign countries.

DE WILDE, Mr. August

FCI All Breeds 

More than thirty years ago August started going to shows with his wife, who had Pekingese and Japanese Chins. It was more as a companion rather than sit at home alone, than out of interest. Eventually he began as a ring steward and started judging Pekingese in 1975. He completed the Toy Group in 1984, and became an FCI All Breeds judge in 1993. He has judged all over the world, and is so in demand that he spends forty weekends every year involved with dog shows.

DEWSBURY, Mr. Frederick N.

Raised in a show environment, and exhibiting since 1967 Mr Dewsbury has been judging since 1985. He has owned and exhibited Italian Greyhounds and Borzois (registered his first litter in 1974). He has judged in Australia, Finland, Ireland, New Zealand, Norway, USA, and Venezuela. 

DI LORENZO, Antonio

FCI All Breeds 

Antonio was really young when he started breeding Neapolitan Mastiffs; he now has 37 years experience in the breed. Many dogs from his kennel were Champions: an example, "Ramona dell’ Altafiumara", winner also in Naples, and her son, the famous "El Gavilan dell’ Altafiumara", who won the World Championship twice.
Antonio started with the Neapolitan Mastiffs and then he extended to other breeds, especially those morphologically similar to the Mastiffs. He has held several seminars of breeds in Italy, Israel, Mexico, Russia, USA, and has judged all over the world.

DI PACE, Mr. Angel H. ("Toto")  

FCI All Breeds 

FCI all breeds International Judge since 1968. He started off his showing career with German Shepherds, where he won 10 Best in Shows. Imported Poodles and bred and showed them with great success. Has handled Boxers professionally and has bred them. Also bred Siberian Huskies, English Cockers, Beagles, Afghan Hounds, Miniature Pinchers, Collies and Borzois.
Later on in life he started with Terriers. He has bred, Kerry Blue Terriers, Airedale Terriers, Welsh Terriers, Scottish Terriers, but has put all his heart into Wire Fox Terriers and Smooth Fox Terriers which he has bred for 19 years . He is currently the President of the Fox Terrier Club in Argentina. His career as a judge has taken him to Europe and all through South America, where he judges Specialty Shows and International All Breed Shows. He has judged the Terrier Group Sweepstakes in Argentina's World Show, 1993. He has been co-founder of the Federacion Cinologica Argentina and member of its Board of Directors, founder and President of the Buenos Aires Kennel Club and has been a professor of many courses for the training of new judges.

DINARDO, Dr. Anthony D. 

AKC Sporting, Hound, Working, Non-Sporting (Provisional Toys)

Began exhibiting dogs in 1970. “We purchased a family Great Dane for the children,” he says, “and he turned out to be a successful dog in the ring.”  Pursuing a limited breeding program, Dr. DiNardo produced a record-setting Doberman Pinscher that was number-one dog in the breed from 1982 to 1985. He has also bred winners of the Doberman Pinscher Club of America’s Top 20 and the breed’s national specialty show. Dr. DiNardo became an AKC judge in 1980 and is approved for all hound, working, non-sporting breeds, many sporting breeds, and various toy and herding breeds. He includes among his judging highlights the DPCA nationals, the Rottweiler Club of America’s Top 20, and judging Best of Best in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Dr. DiNardo is the founder and past president of the Connecticut River Working Group Association, the first AKC working-dog member club. A past president of the Doberman Pinscher Club of America, he is now the club’s AKC delegate and is proud to have “contributed to many changes at the DPCA.” He is also a member of the Rottweiler Club of America and the First Company Governor’s Footguard. He is the husband of Shelia DiNardo, an AKC judge of working and sporting breeds. 

DOEDIJNS, Mr. A. Rony

FCI All Breeds

Rony was born in the Netherlands in 1966. He's been involved in the Dog World now for about 26 years. His own breeds are Finnish Spitz and Tibetan Terriers. He has owned or bred several Dutch and international champions, European Champions and FCI World Champions in Finnish Spitz.
Rony has judged in most of the European Countries, UK, Scandinavia and in the USA and in 2007 he judged in Indonesia.
He has been a member for over 26 years of SCANDIA that is the breed club for Scandinavian Spitz breeds in the Netherlands.  Occasionally he does the commentary at the main ring at dog shows in the Netherlands and is one the speakers at the International Winner Show in Amsterdam. He is the secretary of the Judges Subcommittee, this organization is a formal partner in monitoring the examination of dog show judges. Chairmen of the Tibetan Terrier Club in the Netherlands and a member of the Royal Dutch Kennel Club Cynophilia. Rony became an All Breeds judge in 2007.

He has been showing and breeding since 1970 and has owned and exhibited Old English Sheepdogs, (his main breed - over 60 Canadian Champions) Irish Wolfhounds, Lakeland Terriers, Shih Tzu, Bulldogs, Whippets, and Bullmastiffs. He has judged extensively in Canada, also in Australia, Germany, Ireland, Japan, Puerto Rico, and the USA. He also gives Seminars & Presentations Old English Sheepdog.

Breeder and exhibitor of Schnauzers three sizes (three Spanish champions), Airedale Terriers (one Spanish Champion), Rottweilers and Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. Actually with the only dedication to the Wire Standard Teckel and Andalussian Podenco. His favourite breeds are the Terriers, Teckels and Schnauzers.
Licensed as an International All Rounder judge by the F.C.I. and the Spanish Kennel Club. He has judged national & internationals Shows in Spain, Portugal, France, Belgium, Sweden, Italy, Germany, Norway, Estonia, Poland, Australia, Denmark, Canada, Korea, Lithuania and Finland (including the Contest Champion of Champions, Helsinki 1996; Hill's Circuit in Australia and the European Dog Show in Poland; Main National Specialty Terriers Show in Madrid 1996 and Specialty Schnauzers Show in Bilbao 1997).
During 2007 and future years Angel has many appointments all over the Europe. Appointed by the Spanish Schnauzer Club and Central Kennel Club as a Breed Specialist; Founder member of the Andalusian Kennel Club in 1980, working there as Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer; Deputy Chief Steward in the World Championship Shows in Madrid 83 and Valencia 92, and also chief Steward on the Main Ring.

DONDINA, Mr. Paolo

FCI All Breeds

A lawyer by profession, Paolo has been an All Breeds judge since 1985. His breed involvements include the Beagle, Saluki, Afghan Hound, German Shepherd Dog and English Springer Spaniel. Living in Italy, Paolo has judged in the U.K., Russia, Australia and many European countries. Messrs Dondina & Benelli won BEST IN SHOW at Crufts in 1975 with a Wire Fox Terrier called Ch Brookewire Brandy ff Layven (Ben).

DOUGLAS, Mrs. Pam J.

NZKC Groups 1, 2, 4, 5, 6 & 7

Pam has owned and shown Pembroke Corgis since 1968. During that time she has bred and shown Best In Show winners, in both Specialist and All Breeds rings. Her involvement in Bearded Collies started in 1983 with her first import, and from there they have evolved into a major passion. She has bred and shown many multiple Best In Show winners in both spheres, Specialist and All Breeds. In her years with dogs, she has bred and/or shown to their titles in excess of forty Champions, in New Zealand, Australia and the USA. In 2003 they added Australian Terriers to their kennels, and she's found them to be a joy to live with.
Pam is Secretary/Treasurer of an All Breeds Club in New Zealand, Senior Vice President of the New Zealand Kennel Club and is active in the Judges Training Scheme. She has judged extensively in New Zealand, often in Australia at both All Breeds and Specialist Shows and also at All Breeds Shows and Specialist Shows in the US and South Africa. She is currently licensed to judge 6 groups at Championship Show level, these being the following: Toy Group, Terrier Group, Hound Group, Working Group, Utility Group and the Non Sporting Group. 

DOUGLAS, Mr. Wayne

ANKC Groups 1, 3,  4 and 7  (All Toys, Gundogs, Hounds, and Non-Sporting)

Wayne first became involved in the world of showing dogs in 1977 with an English Cocker Spaniel. In 1979 he moved in to the Hound Group with the first of what was to become many Afghan Hounds. In 1983 the English Springer Spaniel “Ch Wongan Southn Silk” arrived returning his involvement with the Gundog group. Silks breeder also bred American Cocker Spaniels and he regularly handled them at shows. In 1984 he obtained his first exhibition Greyhound and soon followed by importing the first of two from Dagmar Kenis’ Solstrand Kennels in England. In the early 90’s American Cockers were added to his breeds. 
In all he has owned/bred/exhibited 23 Australian champions and has had specialty challenge and Royal show challenge winners in all 4 breeds. These include numerous All Breeds Best In Show winners as well as Specialty Best in Show winners and includes Runner Best In show at the 2002 Afghan National Specialty from the junior class. He is not a prolific breeder but does enjoy handling and judging. As well as his own Afghan and English Springer Spaniel he currently handles 2 varieties of Miniature Dachshunds (Long Haired & Wire Haired).
Wayne was granted his Championship judges license in 1990, and is licensed to judge all Toys, Gundogs, Hounds and Non-Sporting breeds. He has judged the Afghan Specialty in Richmond, Virginia, US; South Island Whippet Club Specialty in New Zealand; Irish Wolfhounds & Saluki’s at a Sighthound Specialty in Landstahl, Germany; North Island Irish Wolfhound Club, New Zealand; Whippets & Greyhounds at the Whippet & Greyhound Club of South Australia (Championship Show); Afghans, Bassets, Dachshunds (all Varieties), PBGV, AVNSC, Killarney KC, Killarney, Ireland; American Cocker Spaniel Club Of New South Wales, Australia (Championship Show); English Springer Spaniel Club of Victoria (Championship Show); 4 Hound Club Championship Shows - Tasmania, Australian Capital Territory, Northern Territory Perth (2005); Hound Group and Specials in all Australian states; Hound Group and specials in Victoria on numerous occasions since 1991; Greyhounds in Scotland (May 2005); Greyhounds, Whippets & Dachshund Wire in Sweden (May 2005). Judged in May 2006 Afghan Hounds and English Springer Spaniels in the U.K. at Southern Counties Championships Show in Surrey UK. Also judged at 2006 Canberra Royal.

DOULOS, Mr. Dionisios

FCI Groups 4, 6, 7, 8, 10

He was born on 1957 from a purely canine hunting family. His passion and love for pointer breeds led him to become involved exclusively with the breeding and training of British and Irish pointers. Since 1991 he has brought out 16 trial dogs, a practical hunting champion, 5 dogs who participated in the National team for the European and World championship, 19 dogs as conformation champions, 2 conformation breeding champions, an absolute champion of both conformation and working trials, an international conformation champion and a reserve world champion. All these dogs were under his registered kennel name "D. Doulos". He has won 19 times the title of "Best Kennel in Show" in National and International shows with the greatest achievement in June 2000, where he was awarder with the title of "Best World Kennel of English Setters". Dogs of his breeding who are abroad, present remarkable records in Denmark, Switzerland, Finland and Germany.
He was a member of the Board of Directors of the Greek Kennel Club, the last 2 serving as Vice - President. He is a member of the Greek Kennel Club Judges Committee for conformation shows and working trials. He is also an International conformation judge for groups 4, 6, 7, 8, 10 as well as an International judge for working trials of group 7. He can also judge special classes and Best in Show. 

DOYLE, Mrs. Elizabeth

Elizabeth Doyle has in conjunction with her family owned, bred and/or exhibited a variety of breeds including: Pugs, Italian Greyhounds, Löwchens, Irish and English Setters, Golden Retrievers, German Short Haired Pointers, English Cocker Spaniels, Afghans, Greyhounds, Dalmatians and Schipperkes.  Currently the family is campaigning Löwchens, English and Irish Setters and Dalmatians. 
Elizabeth's involvement at club level has included being a Secretary and Committee member of the Southern Gundog Society of which she is a Patroness and Life Member, a past committee member of the Canterbury Ladies Kennel Association, the Southern Irish Setter Club, the Southern Golden Retriever Club and the Canterbury and Regions German Short Haired Pointer Club. A past Secretary and Committee member of the Canterbury Toy Dog Club, and currently a committee member of the English Setter Club. Elizabeth is also Patroness and a Life Member of the Canterbury Kennel Association. 
Elizabeth started judging in 1975 and holds a license for the Sporting Group, she has also received dispensation to judge the Italian Greyhound Club Championship show in Sydney, Australia. She has been fortunate not only to judge all over New Zealand but extensively throughout Australia, as well as China, the Philippines, New Caledonia, Singapore, Ireland and the U.S.A.  Retired from IBM New Zealand she keeps active in the local arts council.

Gary has, in conjunction with his family owned, bred and/or exhibited a variety of breeds including: Pugs, Italian Greyhounds, Löwchens, Irish and English Setters, Golden Retrievers, German Short Haired Pointers, English Cocker Spaniels, Afghans, Greyhounds, Dalmatians and Schipperkes.  Currently the family is campaigning English and Irish Setters, Löwchens and Dalmatians. 
Gary was a member of the Executive Council of the New Zealand Kennel Club the hobbies governing body for 13 years and held the South Island Vice Presidency for 6 years and was Senior V.P. for 2 years, and has been made a Life Member.
The number of clubs and associations that he has been involved in are many but the main ones are, the Canterbury Kennel Association where he is the Immediate Past President Patron and a Life Member, this is the South Island's largest club. He is also President and co-founder of the English Setter Club and the Selwyn District Kennel Society, Patron and Life Member of the Southern Gundog Society and Patron and foundation President of the Southern Golden Retriever Club and Patron of the South Island Supreme Dog Show. 
Gary started judging in 1976 and gained his All Breeds License in 1988, he has been fortunate not only to judge all over New Zealand but also in every state of Australia as well as China, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Mexico, New Caledonia, Pakistan, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and the USA.  He retired from the New Zealand Police after 32 years service and is currently a Local Body Councillor and a Justice of the Peace.

DOYLE, Karen

CKC Hound, Terrier (Provisional Herding)

In 1971 while she and husband were in Europe they brought back an Afghan Hound puppy which she decided to show. It was at the dog shows she discovered the Saluki and it was love at first sight. Had her first litter of Salukis in 1978 and has subsequently bred Best in Show and Specialty Best in Show Salukis under the "Gazella" prefix. She has new addition to her household of an American Staffordshire Terrier. 

DRAPER, Dr. Sam

AKC Terrier, Toy, Non-Sporting, several Sporting

Showed his first dog, a Cairn Terrier, in 1939 under the legendary judge Alva Rosenberg. After serving in the Army during World War II, he began his long association with Chow Chows. Co-owned Ch. Eastward Liontamer of Elster, a top-winning Chow who went on to sire 32 champions. With partner Desmond Murphy, Dr. Draper has since co-owned and exhibited several multiple Best in Show–winners under the Liontamer banner. They have written extensively and given seminars on the fine points of Chows. Dr. Draper is the co-author of two comprehensive books on the breed: The Book of the Chow Chow and The World of the Chow Chow.  He was approved to judge Chows in 1971 and currently judges the Non-Sporting, Toy, and Terrier groups, and several sporting breeds. The long-time AKC delegate from the Chow Chow Club and judge of the club’s 1986 national specialty, Dr. Draper has also served the Westchester, Tuxedo, Saw Mill, and Westbury kennel clubs in several meaningful roles.

DUARTE, Mr. Mario Renato Leme 

FCI All Breeds

Mario started with Beagles in 1976 and in 1980 added the Skye Terrier, Fox Terrier (Smooth) and Scottish Terrier to his kennel (Harmony Hill Kennel). In 1990 he formed a partnership with Jerson Valle, and they established the Dynasty Kennel, dedicated only to the Scottish Terrier. They have held the top rankings in Brazil in 1995, 86, 87, 98, 99, 200, 2001 and also in 2002. Winners of many Specialty and All Breeds Best In Show. Mario is an All Breeds Judge certified by the CBKC and the FCI, he has judged in many countries including South America, Sweden and Canada. He is a Steward in the air force and his other interests are collectables and cars.

Doreen and her husband, Ron, obtained their first Basenji in 1969 and have been very involved in the dog world since then. They have bred many Champions including the first Basenji to win a big award at the Royal Melbourne Show when Ch Makuba Am Mbindi went Best Opposite Sex out of over 1000 Hounds. They have also had a Hound Group 4 - at the 2002 Royal Melbourne Show. They owned the first Basenji to win an All Breeds Best in Show in Victoria, and later a bitch of theirs also won an All Breeds Best in Show. Doreen has been honoured with Life Membership of the Hound Club of Victoria and also the Basenji Club of Victoria.
Doreen obtained her first judging licence in 1980 - the Hound Group, and since then has added the six other Groups to attain her All Breeds Licence. She has judged Hound Shows in every State and Territory in Australia and also in New Zealand. She has also judged in the UK (including a Basenji Specialty), Finland (including two Basenji Specialties), South Africa, New Zealand and the USA (three Basenji Specialties including the 2003 Basenji Club of America National).

DUNCAN, Mr. Donald BG

Don has been in the Dog World since 1972 as a successful breeder, exhibitor of Boston Terriers, also bred Doberman Pinschers, Newfoundlands . In 1980 Won Puppy Of The Year Award - Doberman Pinscher Club Of Canada. 3 B.P.I.S, 4 B.P.I.G. Life Member of The Doberman Pinscher Club of Canada. Treasurer D.P.C. of C. for 12 years. Life Member C.K.C. Member of the Canadian Dog Judges Association. Having served on Boston Terrier and Doberman Breed Clubs, also All Breed Clubs Committees and having judged Club Shows at home and abroad he greatly enjoys meeting fellow dog enthusiasts wherever judging takes him. As well as greatly enjoying judging in Canada, he has also judged in U.S.A., Australia (judged at Canberra Royal Show 2007), New Zealand and Ireland. He has also judged Specialities for a number of breeds including Boston Terriers, English Bulldogs, Bichon Frise, Toy Manchester Terriers, Manchester Terriers, Rottweilers in Canada and U.S.A. 

DUNFEE, Natalie

CKC Hound, Working, Terrier, Toy, Non-Sporting, Herding (Provisional Sporting)

After purchasing her first Yorkshire Terrier she began showing and breeding dogs in 1970. Her career in judging began in 1990, starting with Group 5, then 4, 6. 7 and 2. She has owned and bred Yorkshire Terriers, Pekingese & Pomeranians. She has, in these breeds, had 45 Champions and over 70 BIS. 

DYER, Mr. Luis

FCI All Breeds

Breeder and exhibitor of the Boxer for more than 15 years, having titled multiple National and International champions. He started out initially in Great Danes. Committee member and Vice-president of the Costa Rican Association of Criadores of Boxer (1991), Committee member of the School of Judges of El Salvador. Treasurer and President (1990-1992) of the Canófila Association of Costa Rica.
Luis has judged in multiple national exhibitions and international in Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Colombia, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Peru, Brazil, the United States, Mexico, Argentina, and in he was to judge invited at the World-wide Exhibition in El Salvador, making him the first Central American judge to participate in an event of that nature. Judged many Specialty Shows for the following breeds: Boxer, Rottweiler, Saint Bernard and Dobermann.
